Certainly, human history demonstrates the truth of your assertion. For evil results there is always a cause and invariably, the cause is human decisions: some made out of ignorance, some out of good intentions, some out of malice. For me, I vacillate between the desire to <b>do</b> something and throwing up my hands. As a practical matter, we can talk, scream, blog all day, but the people in power will not care the slightest, because for them, it is all about attaining or maintaining power. Whether its sending troops to war or facilitating the death of our society, it such is a means to increased power over the masses, then that is the course of action to be pursued.
